How to use

What it checks and how it works

The tool follows Google Search Central's Organization structured data page, opened on 29 Oct 2026. That page lists no required property. It recommends, among others, name, alternateName, legalName, url, logo, description, address, telephone, email, contactPoint, sameAs, foundingDate, vatID and iso6523Code, and the tool reports each recommended property you leave empty. Google recommends placing the markup on the home page or on one page that describes the organization, such as About us, and says it does not need to be on every page. It also recommends the most specific Organization subtype, for example OnlineStore rather than OnlineBusiness. The tool does not check that your details match your site, and Google does not guarantee that any structured data produces a result in Search.

Is Organization markup required by Google?

No. Google's Organization page lists no required properties, only recommended ones such as name, logo and sameAs that help it understand and tell apart your organization.

Where should the markup go?

Google recommends the home page, or one page that describes the organization such as About us. You do not need it on every page of the site.

What does Google say about the logo?

The image must be at least 112x112 px, crawlable and indexable, in a format Google Images supports, and it should look right on a white background.
