Information We Collect
- Account information — when you register for Zaher.AI, we collect your name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash), company name, and billing information.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, queries submitted, reports generated, session duration, and interaction patterns, plus technical data such as your IP address.
- AI processing data — the URLs, brand names, keywords, and target queries you provide, and the AI engine responses we retrieve on your behalf.
How We Use Your Information
- Service delivery — to create and maintain your account, process transactions, deliver AI visibility analysis results, generate reports, and provide customer support.
- Product improvement — aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us understand which features are most valuable and prioritize our product roadmap.
- Communication — transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts, security alerts) are essential to the service; product updates only with your consent.
- Security and compliance — to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents, verify your identity, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with applicable laws.
Data Protection and Security
- Encryption — all data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher; data at rest with AES-256. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
- Access controls — access to customer data is limited to personnel who need it, logged, reviewed periodically, and governed by role-based access.
- Third-party services — vetted providers for infrastructure (cloud hosting), payments (Stripe), analytics (PostHog), and communications, contractually bound to process data only on our instructions.
- Data retention — account data is kept while your account is active; after closure, personal data is deleted or anonymized within 90 days unless the law requires longer.
Your Privacy Rights
Access and portability, correction, deletion, opt-out of marketing, the right to object, and the right to restrict processing. Submit requests to privacy@zaher.ai; most account information can be updated directly in your settings.
International Data Transfers
Zaher.AI operates globally, and your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. When we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards.
