How to use

What it checks and how it works

FAQPage is a schema.org type, and the tool builds it from Question and Answer nodes. What Google says, from its own pages opened on 29 Oct 2026: on 8 Aug 2023 it limited the FAQ rich result to well-known, authoritative government and health websites; its documentation updates say the feature no longer appears in Search from 7 May 2026, and the documentation was removed on 15 June 2026. That means this markup earns no FAQ rich result on Google. Google's 2023 post says there is no need to remove markup you already have, because unused structured data has no visible effect and causes no problems. The tool reports a minimum of one question with an accepted answer, which is Zaher's check from schema.org and not a Google rule. It does not say what other search or AI systems do with the markup.

Does Google still show FAQ rich results?

No. Google's documentation updates say the FAQ rich result no longer appears in Search from 7 May 2026, after limiting it to government and health sites on 8 Aug 2023.

Should I delete FAQPage markup I already have?

Google's 2023 post says there is no need to proactively remove it. Unused structured data causes no problems for Search and has no visible effect.

Why build FAQPage markup at all?

It is valid schema.org that other consumers may read, and some teams keep it for that reason. The tool states plainly that it earns no FAQ rich result on Google.
