Service Schema Generator

Enter a service's name, type, provider and areas and get Service JSON-LD from schema.org, with an honest note on what Google does with it.

How to use

What it checks and how it works

Google documents no rich result for the Service type, so there is no Google property list to follow. This tool builds Service from the schema.org type (opened 29 Oct 2026) and says so before the result. Its checks are Zaher's minimum, not a Google rule: a name is required, and description, provider name, areaServed, serviceType and url are recommended. The provider can be an Organization, a LocalBusiness or a Person, and areaServed takes a list of cities or countries. A price adds an Offer with the currency you choose. Google reads structured data on a page to understand it, as its introduction says, so accurate Service markup can help describe the page, but no display in Search is promised. For a business with a street address use the local business generator as well.

Does Google show a rich result for Service?

Google documents none. The markup describes the page in schema.org terms and gives no promised feature in Search.

What does the tool check?

A name, and it suggests description, provider name, areaServed, serviceType and url. This is Zaher's minimum from schema.org, not a Google rule.

Should I use Service or LocalBusiness?

Use LocalBusiness for a business with a place customers can find, and Service for a particular thing it offers. A page can carry both.
