Merchant Center Product Feed Checker

Paste your product feed and find the missing attributes, wrong values and malformed prices before Merchant Center does.

How to use

What it checks and how it works

The rules come from Google's Merchant Center product data specification, opened on 29 Oct 2026, and its guidance for the title attribute. The tool checks that the required attributes (id, title, description, link, image_link, price, availability) are present and filled, that id, title, brand and other fields are within their length limits, that links start with http or https, that price is a number with a period followed by a currency code such as 299.00 EGP, that availability, condition, age_group and gender use the supported values, that preorder and backorder items have an availability_date, that brand is not a placeholder, that GTINs pass the GS1 check digit and avoid restricted prefixes, and that apparel products carry colour, gender and age group. It reads the text of the feed only. Merchant Center also compares your data with the landing page and applies policies, shipping and tax settings, which this tool cannot see. A clean result here means none of the checked attributes has a problem, not that Google will approve every product.

Which file formats can I paste?

Comma, tab, semicolon or pipe separated text with a header row. XML feeds are not read. Column names can have a g: prefix and any capitalization.

Does a clean result mean Google will approve my products?

No. The tool checks the attributes it lists against the specification. Google also checks the landing page, your policies and your account settings, and it can disapprove a product the file check passed.

Is my feed uploaded anywhere?

No. The check runs in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. Closing the page discards the feed unless you save the run.
