How to use
- Paste a JSON array of objects, or load the example.
- Choose the delimiter and whether nested objects become columns such as contact.email.
- Tick the formula guard if the data comes from users, and the byte order mark if the file will open in Excel with Arabic text.
- Copy the CSV or download it as a .csv file.
What it checks and how it works
The tool writes CSV with Papa Parse, following the quoting rules of RFC 4180. The columns are the union of the keys across all records, in the order they first appear, and a missing key becomes an empty cell. Nested objects are flattened into dot-separated columns, and arrays are written as JSON text inside the cell.
A cell that starts with = + - or @ can run as a formula when opened in a spreadsheet; the OWASP CSV injection guidance recommends prefixing such cells, which the guard option does. The guard changes the text of those cells, so leave it off for trusted data.

About this tool
Excel often assumes a legacy encoding for a CSV file. Tick the UTF-8 byte order mark option so that Excel reads the file as UTF-8.
An array is written as JSON text in one cell, because a CSV row cannot hold a list. Flatten the data first if you need one row per item.
It stops a cell such as =SUM(A1) from running when the file is opened in a spreadsheet, which matters when the data came from untrusted users.
